She was predeceased by: her parents, Aaron Gruber and Alice Gruber; her former husband Saul Bearak; her husband Kenneth Brown; her son Joel Bearak; her brother Joseph Gruber; her sister-in-law Helen; her brother Jack Gruber; her sister-in-law Evelyn; her grandson Jordan Bearak; and her stepson Larry Brown.
She is survived by: her son Arnie Bearak (Adena); her stepson Richard Brown (Thu An); her grandson Jason Brown; and her sibling's children, Andrea Gruber (Ed Broadwin), Cheryl Parker (Mitchell), Alan Gruber (Kathy), Laura Thompson (Jim), Linda Musser (Rod), Andrew Gruber (Brenda), Holly Gruber (Rich Ulkus), Daniel Gruber (Tracy Grandstaff), Joseph Bearak (Sandy Rose), Barbara Bearak (Henri Pelletier), Steven Bearak (Michelle), Lisa Shuman and Judy Leary.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Children's Tumor Foundation or Plugged in Band Needham, a charity chosen in memory of her grandson Jordan Bearak.
