It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Frederic S. Shmase (Peabody, Massachusetts), who passed away on July 5, 2025, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his grandson Alexander Shmase. He is survived by: his wife Henrietta Shmase (Menkes); his children, Jeffrey (Anne) of Peabody, Julie Montalbano (Chris) of North Kingstown, RI and Anne Kasperowicz (Pete) of Fairfax, VA; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Benjamin Shmase, Luke, Theo Montalbano, Georgia and Sam Kasperowicz.
A funeral service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Temple Ner Tamid (368 Lowell St, Peabody, MA 01960). A graveside service was held on Sunday, July 13th 2025 at the Maple Hill Cemetery.
