He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Mary Etta O'Brien; his wife Barbara J. O'Brien; his children, Jean O'Brien (Greg Lauffer) of Hamilton and Bruce O'Brien (Geraldine Shea) of Swampscott; and his grandchildren, Jeff Lauffer of Melrose and Dale Lauffer of Hamilton.
