Jacob Bailen Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jacob Bailen of Peabody, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 10, 2026 at the age of 96. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Ann Karol Bailen; his parents, Julius Balan and Rebecca Balan (Orechov); and his siblings, Irving Balan and Ida Bosinoff.

He is survived by: his children, Laura Kaufman (Howard), Mark Bailen, Steven Bailen (Cindy), Richard Bailen (Michelle) and Michael Bailen; his grandchildren, Merav Kaufman (Oren Mangoubi), Yael Kaufman (Aviva Galpert), Yonina, Avital Bailen, Erez Bailen, Gilat Bailen, Kara Bailen, Jenna Bailen, Justin Bailen and Alex Bailen; and his great grandchildren, Ami Ben-Shimon, Tehillah Ben-Shimon, Avigayil Ben Shimon and Yuval Mangoubi.
