He was loved and cherished by many people including: his father Jacob C. Darnell Sr.; his wife Bernadette Darnell of Peabody; his children, Kristen Swanson (Erik) of Boxford, Laura Darnell of Portland, Maine, Elizabeth Darnell of Braintree and Jacob Darnell III (Lisa) of Amesbury; his grandchildren, Ian, Cooper, Jack, Andrew, Katie, Jacob and Julianne; his sisters, Jean Burge of Florida and Judy Adrian (J. C.) of Texas; and his brother-in-law Marc Boisclair (Bruce Harris) of Chatham. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
