We announce the death of Janet Lucy Macduff of Peabody, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 1, 2026, at the age of 67. Janet will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Janet will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Janet’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Allen Macduff and Helen Marie Macduff (Fader); and her sister Joyce Mason (Phil). She is survived by: her daughter Kristen Joy; and her siblings, Bonnie Jacques of Hamilton, Massachusetts, Daniel Macduff (Betty) of Deerfield and Paul Macduff (Cheryl) of Lynn, Massachusetts.. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Janet's memory to MSPCA–Angell, an organization close to her heart because of her lifelong love of animals.
