He was predeceased by: his parents, John J. Murphy and Eleanor M. Murphy (Rideout). He is survived by: his wife Debra A. Bornstein (Bornstein); his daughter Kaitlyn A. Murphy; his brother Richard Murphy of Amesbury; his siblings-in-law, Patricia Ingham, Charles Bornstein and Henry Bornstein (Lauren); his nieces and nephews, Colleen Murphy, Erin Meinders, Timothy Murphy, Meghan Murphy and Brian Ingham; and his cousins, Larry Rideout, Chuck Bagnell, Ellen Giannusa, Harry Walker and James Walker.
