We announce the death of Marjorie Ames (Peabody, Massachusetts), who passed away on July 5, 2026, at the age of 99. Marjorie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Marjorie’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frank Harvey Ames Jr.; her parents, David A. Ramage and Marguerite Ramage (LeFevre); and her sister Elizabeth Westlake. She is survived by: her children, Nancy Anne Ames of Acton, MA, Frank Harvey Ames III (Kathy Conklin Ames) of Bruceton Mills, WV and David Ramage Ames of Newton Center, MA; and her grandchild Robin Ames. She is also survived by her grandchildren, her great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
