Robert A. Stefanilo Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert A. Stefanilo of Peabody, Massachusetts, born in Everett, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 2, 2025 at the age of 67. He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Stefanilo and Joan Stefanilo (Locke); his mother-in-law Ann Mayo; and his sister-in-law Patricia Mayo. He is survived by: his wife Diane (Mayo); his children, Angela Picanso (Michael) of Rowley, Michelle Stefanilo, David Longo of Peabody and Anthony Stefanilo (Deanna) of Peabody; his siblings, Charles Stefanilo of Everett and Susan Parziale (Stephen) of Peabody; his grandchildren, Christopher Cummings, Gavin Cummings, Anthony Stefanilo, Jr., Olivia Picanso and Alison Picanso; his father-in-law Harold Mayo, Sr.; and his siblings-in-law, Harold Mayo, Jr. (Maryann), Kenneth Mayo (Denise), Mark Mayo and Tiffany Leahy. He is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cafasso & Sons Funeral Home (65 Clark St, Everett, MA 02149). A funeral service will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 8:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Friday, May 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Immaculate Conception Church (600 Pleasant St, Malden, MA 02148).
