Stephen E. Ditchfield Obituary

We announce the death of Stephen E. Ditchfield of Peabody, Massachusetts, who passed away on September 9, 2026, at the age of 60. Stephen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his father Stephen V. Ditchfield; his stepmother Judith Ditchfield (Nelson); and his father-in-law William J. Middleton. He is survived by: his mother Judith A. Greika (Delisle); his wife Jodi Ditchfield (Middleton); his children, Lily K. Ditchfield, Payton E. Ditchfield, Stephen E. Ditchfield II and Grace M. Ditchfield; his stepfather Roger Greika; his mother-in-law Barbara Middleton (Grant); his siblings, Debra Infiorati (Jeffrey Infiorati) and David Ditchfield (Sarah (Spalding) Ditchfield); his brother-in-law William J. Middleton II; and his nieces and nephews, Jessica Infiorati, Daniel Infiorati, Jennifer Ditchfield and Blake Ditchfield.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 12:00 PM and from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Solimine Funeral Home - Broadway (426 Broadway, Lynn, MA 01904). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of the Assumption Church (17 Grove St, Lynnfield, MA 01940).

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, in memory of Stephen Ditchfield.
