William left this world on February 9, 2026 at the age of 71, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sr. Heckman and June Heckman (Page). He is survived by: his wife Carole Heckman (Colangelo); his children, Keifer Heckman (Kaitlin) of Peabody, John Paul Hillette (Katie) of Salem, Nicholas Ouellette (Sydney) of Wakefield and Desiree Dugas (Keith) of Medford; his grandchildren, Carolyn, Kayleigh, Lucy and Jeremy; his siblings, Elaine Heckman of Beverly and Wayne Heckman of Peabody; his son Keaton Heckman; his sister Gail Heckman; his niece Haley Jalbert; and his nephew Christopher Heckman. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a community of friends and co-workers.
