She was predeceased by: her parents, Alyce Files (Rutan) and Benjamin S. Files; her children, Ronald "Matt" Matthew Jr. of Marshfield and Sandra "Sandy" Matthew of Rockland; her granddaughter Kristen; and her sisters, Helen "Rita" Manning and Janet Fiske.

She is survived by: her husband Ronald F. Matthew; her children, Dawn Nilson, Shane Lynch of Rockland and Scott Matthew (Shannon) of North Carolina; her grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Rachel, Katryna, Nevaeh of Ryder, Mathew and Gabby; her great grandchildren, Kyra, Madison, Tyler, Everly, Mitchell and Madalynn; and her sisters, Lorraine Sears, Sheila Gallagher and Donna Doherty. She is also survived by her family - especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
