He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Collins and Alma Collins (Foley); and his siblings, Harold Collins, Carol Guarente, Alma Toner and Marie Leary.
He is survived by: his wife Helen L. Collins (Hurley); his sons, Michael Collins, Jr. (Jessica) of Milton and Matthew Collins (Miranda) of Plymouth; and his grandchildren, Madison, Meredith and Finn. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
