He was predeceased by: his parents, John Comer and Catherine Comer (Mullen); his grandfather Bill; his wife Margaret Comer (Touhey); his siblings, Mary "Terry" Pecevich, Thomas Comer and Imelda Gemmel; and his sister-in-law Mary Touhey.
He is survived by: his children, William Comer, Jr., Ann Comer, Carol Hobin (Tom), Mary Capuzzo (John), Joan Comer, Patti Simms (Bill), Kevin Comer, Brian Comer and Meg Comer; his siblings, John "Jake" Comer, Patricia Comer and James Comer; and his grandchildren, TJ, Bridget, Grace Hobin, Jenna, Kristen, Brendan Capuzzo, Matthew, Michael, Stephenson, Liam Simms, Christopher Comer, Caitlyn, Megan, Mitchell Comer and Diana Comer. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 23rd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home (809 Main St, Weymouth, MA 02190). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 at 10:30 AM at the St. Christine's Church (1295 Main St, Marshfield, MA 02050).
