William Gerstel Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of William Gerstel of Pembroke, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 18, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As we bid William farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For William is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, James Gerstel and Donna Chasse; his stepfather David Chasse; his siblings, Robert Gerstel and Christina Samways; and his close friends, Peter Silvia and Melanie Robbins. He was also cherished by extended family and many friends.
