She was loved and cherished by many people including : her parents, James Nichlen and Elaine Benoit; her children, Regina Marquis (Steven Kibling), Kristina Contois (Stephen Myers), Jamie Affhauser and Jacob Affhauser (Mechelle Darnell); her granddaughters, Amberlynn Contois (Christopher Peneherrara) and Lexus Marquis; and her brother James Nichlen. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to St. Stephen's Episcopal Church; HospiceCare in the Berkshires or the American Cancer Society.
