Barbara Bishop Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 3, 2025, at the age of 95, Barbara Bishop of Pittsfield, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Michael F. Vetters and Mary Mackey Vetters; her husband Alfred B. Bishop; and her grandson Ryan Cook. She is survived by: her children, Mark R. Bishop (Charlotte M.) of Stanford, CT, Scott M. Bishop of Fountain Inn, SC, Lynne M. Bishop and Wendy M. Bishop of Pittsfield, MA. She is also survived by seven grandsons, and one great grandson.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Charles Church (89 Briggs Ave, Pittsfield, MA 01201). She was also a member of RSVP, the Ralph J. Froio Senior Center, AARP, and the Retired State County and Municipal Employees Association.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Charles Church in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
