It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Barbara MacNayr of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on December 28, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her husband Russell MacNayr; her children, Matt MacNayr (Christina) of Lee, MA and Marcy Ford (Jason) of Harwich, MA; her granddaughter Emmilyn MacDonald (Ben) of Lenox Dale, MA; her sister-in-law Julie Pike of Montgomery, MA; and her sisters, Helen, Elizabeth and Jean. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews from both sides of her family.
