With sadness, we share the passing of Bruce L. McKinney of Pittsfield, Massachusetts. Bruce, born on December 10, 1946, passed away on September 28, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Bruce L. McKinney to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyndon L. McKinney and Lillian R. Berry McKinney of Joseph's High School; his wife Diane Koenig; his granddaughter Grace McKinney; and his sister June Helliwell Loehr.
He is survived by: his children, Karen McKinney Kowalczyk (Robert), Michael McKinney (Dawn), Lori McKinney Maniatis (Marc), Mark McKinney (Carolyn) and Sara McKinney (Kyle Monterroso); and his grandchildren, Kevin, Kayla, Brandon, Patrick, Bryan, Colin, Benjamin and Nicholas.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Dwyer Family Funeral Home (776 North St, Pittsfield, MA 01201). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 5th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Charles Church (89 Briggs Ave, Pittsfield, MA 01201).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bruce's memory can be made to the St. Joseph's Food Pantry, the St. Agnes Food Pantry, or the Farmington Food Pantry (CT), in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home.
