As we bid Carol farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Carol is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Leo Thibodeau and Mildred Rabideau Thibodeau; and her sisters, Shirley Cole and Theresa Allen. She is survived by: her aunt Jeanette LaBelle Triau; her uncle Donald LaBelle; her husband William F. Gerhardt; her daughter Carolyn Kaplan (Adam) of Niantic, Conn.; and her sister Joan Drysgola. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in care of DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
