Debora leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Debora’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Debora will carry forward her memory in their hearts.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Briggs and Helen Briggs. She is survived by: her brothers, Jim Briggs (Gloria) of Arizona and Tim Briggs of Utah. She is also survived by seven nephews and nieces; five grandnephews and one grandniece; several cousins and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dery Funeral Home (54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201). A burial will be held on Monday, September 28th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Church (191 Elm St, Pittsfield, MA 01201). Deciding to come home, she filled positions with the City of Pittsfield, first at RSVP then with the Department of Public Services.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Friends of Renal Dialysis in the Berkshires, in care of the funeral home.
