We bid farewell to Diane Dee Sweener of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 23, 2026 at the age of 71. Diane touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, James Spring and Rose Estes Spring; her husband David P. Sweener; her children, James P. Sweener (Lia Palermo) of Adams and Jennifer L. Charbonneau (Andre) of Lanesborough; her grandchildren, James Cavanaugh (Sarah Molloy), Ava, Ella Charbonneau and Elinora Sweener; her great grandchild Benjamin Cavanaugh; and her brother George Spring (Linda) of Pittsfield. She was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Always a caregiver, in her spare time she volunteered with several organizations including the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) and Berkshire Humane Society.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Diane may be made to Berkshire Humane Society or to the Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
