She is survived by: her children, Michael Dessereau, James Dessereau and Ann Dessereau (Goyette); her sisters, Lorraine Gaherty and Claudine Joyner; her grandchildren, Carrie Scales (Chris), Matthew Dessereau (Alicia), Jack Dessereau, Ray Dessereau and Cole Dessereau; and her great grandchildren, Cameron McGinnis, Maisie McGinnis and Scales of Alabama. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
