Dorathea W. Speth Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Dorathea W. Speth of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on June 3, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Winthrop Kie and Dorathea Smith Kie; her husband Frank M. Speth; her daughter Sally A. Demarsico; her siblings, Milton, Leland Kie, Margaret Barnes and Rosalie Burnet; and her son-in-law Thomas Rando.
She is survived by: her children, Ellen J. LePage (John) of New Lebanon, NY, Susan C. Daley (Ray) of Dalton, Frank M. Speth, Jr. of Pittsfield and Sherry L. Rando of Pittsfield. She is also survived by 20 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 11th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dery Funeral Home (54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in her name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
