With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Bean (Pittsfield, Massachusetts), who passed away on August 27, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Pierson and Doris Mack Pierson; her siblings, William Pierson, Raymond Pierson, Howard Pierson and Dawne Smith; and her daughter Susan A. Reu.
She is survived by: her children, Leonard E. Bean and Doris-Jean Hayes (Joseph Hayes); her sister Gloria Rufo; her grandchildren, Nikita Kirchner-Bean Mixon (Ross Mixon), Michael Reu (Courtney Bossana), Mary, Seamus and Christine Hayes; and her great grandchild Samuel Mixon.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Doris's memory can be made to the Carmelite Sisters via the Carmelite Sisters Website in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home.
