With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Eleanor Dietrich (Pittsfield, Massachusetts), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Eleanor left this world on April 20, 2026 at the age of 102, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Willard Buckler and Geraldine Buckler; her former husband John A. Dietrich; her sister Barbara Kiley (Buckler); her granddaughter Rebecca Tatro; and her son-in-law Walter Gowey.
She is survived by: her spouse Pittsfield; and her children, Jeri Galletly (Wayne), Jon Dietrich (Deborah), Barbara Dietrich and Todd Dietrich (Tammy). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and seven great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Eleanor's name may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or South Community Food Pantry in Pittsfield, MA, in care of the Dwyer-Wellington Funeral Home, 220 East St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
