Ernest F. Fortini Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ernest F. Fortini of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 19, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Ernest has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest J. Fortini and Marion Fennessey; his brother Joseph H. Fortini; and his stepfather Ed Fennessey. He is survived by: his children, Keith M. Fortini and Linda L. Fortini; his grandson Vinny; and his siblings, James Fortini (Patricia), Marlene Rokoz (Bill) and Janice McConnell.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Dery Funeral Home (54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201).
Memorial donations may be made in his name to the Jimmy Fund of the Berkshires.
