She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Pierson and Doris Pierson (Mack); her husband Gerald A. Rufo, Sr.; and her siblings, William Pierson, Raymond Pierson, Howard Pierson, Dawne Smith and Doris Bean.
She is survived by: her children, Gerald Rufo, Jr. (Brigid), Glen Rufo (Sue), Jodi Rufo Lo Duca (Anthony) and Jacqueline Hartigan (Chad); her grandchildren, Jennifer Johnson (Chris), Leslie Kaderavek (Ryan), Samantha Lo Duca (Juan Carlos), Nicole Lo Duca (Jordan) and Garret Hartigan; and her sisters, Grace "Kathy" Mason (John), Gerry Burnick (Bob) and Mary Jennings (Richard). She is also survived by five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dwyer Family Funeral Home (776 North St, Pittsfield, MA 01201). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Charles Church (89 Briggs Ave, Pittsfield, MA 01201).
