He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Charles Hamling Sr. and Julia Louise Hamling (Marlowe); his wife AnnMarie Hamling (D'Ilio); his brother Mark; and his in-laws, Nancy Hamling, Robert Woodin, Philip Green and Royal "Bud" Verge.
He is survived by: his sons, Jay A. Hamling (Azeanna) of Pittsfield, Anthony D. Hamling (Aaron) of Pittsfield and Alex J. Hamling (Daniel) of Revere, MA; his grandchildren, Milton "Cubby" Gasson and Jayden; his sons, Amari and Adrian Hamling; his sisters, Beth-Anne Hamling (Stephanie) of Hinsdale, MA, Janet Verge of Frostproof, FL, Melinda Green of Pittsfield and Jody Errichetto (Rocco) of Windsor, MA; and his sisters-in-law, Jean Perrea (Paul) of Hadley, MA and Nancy Hamling of Pittsfield, MA. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Flynn & Dagnoli-Bencivenga Funeral Home (5 Elm St, Pittsfield, MA 01201). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
