We bid farewell to Joel P. Giguere of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on July 14, 2025 at the age of 91. Joel touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Delphia and Alice Lewis Delphia; his daughter Michele M. Womble; his brother Raymond J. Delphia; his sister-in-law Barbara Rivard; and his stepfather Paul Giguere.
He is survived by: his wife Constance Giguere of Pittsfield; his daughters, Lisa A. Maston (Dennis), Denise M. Ronan (Raymond) and Annemarie Maston (William); his grandchildren, Thomas Biggart (Meredith), Kim Tinney (Andy), Jeffrey Vyska (Julie), Katie Vyska, Gregory Vyska (Cheyenne), Rebecca Vyska, Abigail Ronan and Kelly Adams (Jordan); his great grandchildren, Brian, Alex Vyska, Brayden, Myles, Eli Biggart, Joshua Favre, Alliana Tinney, Allanah, Austin, Daniel, Michael McCabe, Mia, Mason Vandesteene, Madison March, Everly and Henry Adams; and his siblings-in-law, Sally Delphia, Edgar Rivard (Nancy) of Muskogee, OK and Robert Rivard (Mary) of Hickory. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Dery Funeral Home (54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the St. Joseph Church North Street (414 North St, Pittsfield, MA 01201).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his name to St. Joseph Church, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
