He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sorensen and Lucy Waddingham Sorensen; his son Joseph J Sorensen; and his uncle Bob. He is survived by: his brother-in-law Jack Doherty; his wife Patricia; his former wife Huguette Phillips; his daughter Debra Larkin (Stephen Calcasola); his stepchildren, John Phillips of Florida, Jean Mills and Julie Beals of New Hampshire; his grandchildren, Patrick, Christina, Amber, Alice, Colin and Sean; his great grandchildren, Hunter, Bella, Julianna, Tristan, Rune, Scarlett, Colton and Oakley; his siblings, Christian, George, Robert, Marie and Helen; and his cousins, Jimmy and Cheryl Doherty of Manassas Virginia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Dery Funeral Home (54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
