He was predeceased by : his mother Helen Gaetani (Cebula); his mother-in-law Patricia A Lester (Shea); his father Charles Gaetani; his wife Patricia Lester; and his brother Gerald Gaetani.

He is survived by : his children, Mark, Paul (Pamela), John Lester and Donna Boschetti. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

The military honors was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St Joseph's Cemetery (222 Pecks Rd, Pittsfield, MA 01201).
