We announce the death of Louis E. Frechette of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on July 9, 2026, at the age of 82. Louis will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Phyllis Frechette (Cruden) and George E. Frechette; and his siblings, Lea Chapman and George A. Frechette. He is survived by: his wife Carol; his children, Patricia Todriff (William) of Pittsfield, Michael Frechette (Lisa) of Lanesborough and Victoria Frechette Ladd of Salisbury, MD.; and his grandchildren, Brandon, Leah and Ian.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Association in care of Dery Funeral Home, 54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201.
