He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis M. Strout Sr. and Esther M. Ward Strout; his daughter Sarah M. Strout Taikowski; and his sisters, Susan E. Strout and Lynn A. Pease.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Strout of Pittsfield; his children, Jeremy L. Strout of St. Augustine, FL, Nicholas W. Strout (Misty White) of Pittsfield, Benjamin M. Strout (Jessica) of Dalton, Kaleigh L. Strout (Jose L. Torres) of Easthampton, MA, Jovan and Jazlyn Colon of Pittsfield; and his siblings, Barbara J. Weeks (Dale) of Peru, Donna M. Sakaske (Joel) of Chester, Michael E. Strout (Mary) of Williamstown, Connie L. Southard (Ricky) of Hinsdale, Lori A. Morrow-Canfora of Peru, Joanne L. Main (Eric) of Middlefield and Carol F. Strout (Warren Wetherell) of Hinsdale. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his name to Dana Farber in care of the funeral home.
