She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Snell and Nellie Snell; her siblings, Carl Robinson, Marcella Proctor, Barbara-Ann Kelly, Lois Chadwell and Larry Robinson; her son John Robert Kastner; her grandsons, Scott Kastner, Richard Randolph and Joshua Bondini; and her goddaughter Crystal Murphy.
She is survived by: her siblings, Pamela Hubbard of Dalton and Theodore Gardner (Betty-Ann Johnson); her children, Teresa Watford of Pittsfield, Paul Kastner of Pittsfield, Allen Kastner of Pittsfield, Nellene Randolph of Pittsfield and Coralynn Randolph Verge of Pittsfield; her grandchildren, Shaun Kastner (MA) and Shellene McGirt (GA); and her goddaughter Tiffany Swanson. She is also survived by great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Price Memorial Church (27 East St, Pittsfield, MA 01201). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the Price Memorial AME Zion Church (27 East St, Pittsfield, MA 01201).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Lydia's name can be made directly to the Dwyer Funeral Home in order to offset funeral costs.
