He was predeceased by: his parents, William Joseph Elworthy and Lillian Marie Hall Elworthy. He is survived by: his wife Kathy; his siblings, Richard Elworthy of Lenox and Leslie Mickle; his brothers-in-law, Steve Cobb (Debbie) of Pittsfield and Rick Cobb (Jackie) of Pittsfield; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer, David Elworthy, Matt, Pat (Lori), Megan, Andy Mickle, Missy, Christopher (Carrie), Nicholas Cobb, Michael Layden (Nicole) and Kimberly Simpson-Gomes; Rick Gomes, Jennah, Kiersten and Lincoln.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to "St. Jude's Children's Hospital" and mailed to the funeral home at 54 Bradford St. Pittsfield, MA 01201.
