With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlene Kirchner of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on March 8, 2026 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Marlene may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Marlene touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Erick Meyer and Louise Clark Meyer; her husband Lawrence H. Kirchner, Jr.; her siblings, Erick Meyer, Francis E. Meyer and Shirley A. Masterone; and her son-in-law Dennis Koch.
She is survived by: her children, Michael L. Kirchner (Carol) of Cheshire, Leslie A. Philippe (James) of Sanford, ME and Diane M. Koch of Malta, NY. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren.
