Mary L. Rentz Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary L. Rentz of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, born in Elyria, Ohio, who passed away on May 13, 2025 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Mary departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Mary may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Mary leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her sister Elizabeth Leath Giffin; and her brother-in-law William Giffin. She is survived by: her husband Peter Rentz; her daughters, Deborah Rentz-Moore (John Moore) of Durham, NH and Sarah Rentz; and her grandsons, Gibson, Garrett Moore and Avery Vinas.
