Merton Amuso Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 10, 2025, at the age of 91, Merton Amuso of Pittsfield, Massachusetts passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Amuso and Marjorie Robertson Amuso; his former wife Phyllis Amuso; and his siblings, Joseph, Mark, James and Theresa.

He is survived by: his wife Joan Gaudette Amuso of Pittsfield; his son Andrew Amuso; his stepchildren, Ray Bradford (Claudia) of New Jersey, Joseph Bradford (Denise) of Pittsfield and Sherry Bradford of Pittsfield; his siblings, David Amuso of Lanesborough, John Amuso (Barbara) of Pittsfield and Diana Cormier of Pittsfield; his grandsons, William Bradford (Amanda), Samuel Bradford and Tim Bradford; and his great grandchildren, Isla, Everly, Celeste and Summer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his name to the Pittsfield Permanent Fireman's Association in care of the funeral home.
