We announce the death of Michael C. Mazzeo of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 20, 2026, at the age of 59. Michael will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Michael will be remembered for the impact he had on the lives of those around him. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Those who knew Michael will remember moments of kindness, warmth, and presence. Though words cannot fully capture his life, the legacy of connections and experiences remains. Michael’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued his companionship.
He is survived by: his parents, Michael Mazzeo and Joan McClintock Mazzeo of Pittsfield; his stepmother Beverly of Lake Placid, Fla.; and his siblings, Gary (Claudia) of Wellington, Fla and Lynn Grosvenor (Michael) of Fairport. He is also survived by numerous loving aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
