She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlton Best and Grace Martin Best; and her husband Dan of Patrick's Day. She is survived by: her children, Daniel O'Handley Jr. (Debra) of Corneilius, N. C., Brian O'Handley (Patricia) of Dalton and Grace O'Handley of Pittsfield; her brother Frank Best (Susan) of Wallingford, Conn.; her grandchildren, Patrick O'Handley, Caitlin Doyle (Mike), Cameron McMahon (Taylor) and Colin McMahon (Brandi); her great grandchild Maren Doyle; her niece Caroline Best Thornton; her nephew Carlton Best; and her great-niece Grace Thornton.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Care of the Berkshires or to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
