With solemn reverence, we commemorate Ronald Plankey of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, whose life came to an end on June 21, 2025 at the age of 90, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
Though Ronald may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Ronald touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward F. Plankey and Olivene M. Plankey (Vincent); his son Michael S. Plankey; and his wife Mickey. He is survived by: his children, Ann Marie Plankey (Matthew Ringie) of Holliston, MA and Ronald J. Plankey (Judy) of Surprise, AZ; and his grandsons, Timothy and Michael Ringie.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 27th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Dery Funeral Home (54 Bradford St, Pittsfield, MA 01201). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the St. Charles Church (89 Briggs Ave, Pittsfield, MA 01201).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Pittsfield Professional Firefighter Benevolent Association and mailed to DERY FUNERAL HOME, 54 Bradford Street, Pittsfield.
