Stephen J. Putnam Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen J. Putnam of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 15, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Stephen leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Franklin Putnam and Marjorie Studley Putnam; and his son Randy Chatterton. He is survived by: his wife Renee Putnam of Pittsfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in his name to the Berkshire Humane Society in care of the funeral home.
