With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Steven M. Stockmal of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Though Steven may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Steven touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He is survived by: his parents, Richard Stockmal and Carol Moody Stockmal; his significant other Sherye Kowalski; his daughter Kassondra Stockmal; his sister Sarabeth Grant; and his nephew Steven.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Dwyer-Wellington Funeral Home (220 East St, Pittsfield, MA 01201).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Steven's memory can be made to the Service Dog Project, in care of the Dwyer Funeral Home.
