He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Smith and Rita Monyahan Smith; and his sister Ann Marie Orcutt. He is survived by: his wife Susan Smith; his daughters, Laura Smith (Paul Banevicius) of Sheffield and Lisa Smith O'Connor (Patrick O'Connor) of Holyoke; his grandsons, Zachary Gross (Madison Babula), Patrick Smith O'Connor and Gabriel Smith O'Connor; his in-laws, James Masengo, Gloria Losaw, Dennis Masengo and Pamela Scott; and his close friends, Randy Johnson and Tony Costello. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made in his name to the charity of one's choice.
