It is with sadness that the passing of Dolores Marie Sheppard of Plainville, Massachusetts is shared. Dolores, born on February 28, 1936, passed away on October 15, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Gerald G Sheppard; her parents, Thomas MacNeil and Catherine MacNeil (McMurray); her son Joseph Sheppard; her daughter-in-law Sherrie Sheppard; and her sibling Jean Flood.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Converse (Thomas) of Plainville, MA, Gerald Sheppard (Janice) of Spofford, James Sheppard of Plainville and William Sheppard of East Bridgewater; her siblings, Daniel MacNeil of Truro, Margaret Duncan, Kathleen Sullivan, Annmarie Donahue and Rita O'Brien; her grandchildren, Krystine Del Grosso, Staci Converse, Andrew Sheppard, Amanda Lema, Jenna Wilson, Amber Sheppard, Sarah Sheppard and Hannah Sheppard; and her great grandchildren, Joshua, Liam, Tommy, Henry, Harper, Alexi, Layla, Avery, Carter, Wesley and Wyatt.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 8:30 AM to 9:45 AM at the Ginley Crowley Funeral Home (3 Barber St, Medway, MA 02053). A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Joseph Church (151 Village St, Medway, MA 02053).
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hands and Hearts Hospice, 34 Washington Street, Suite 100, Wellesley, MA 02481--in honor of Lindsey, RN.
