He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Greer and Elisabeth Greer (Myers); his son Andrew Greer; and his siblings, Tom, John Greer, Susanne Walter and Judy Hershman.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Greer (Thomas); his daughter Kristin Lacoste; his grandchildren, Marissa Lacoste, Scarlette Greer and Anthony Lacoste; and his siblings, Jim Greer, Deanna Phillips and Mollie Evans. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
