She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lyman and Helen Lyman (Morrell); her mother-in-law Barbara Phipps Boyd; and her siblings-in-law, Marc Phipps, Scott Phipps, Burton Phipps and Donna Phipps.

She is survived by: her children, Cherie and Laurie; her husband Kenneth Phipps; her cousin-sister Pamela McCarthy; her siblings-in-law, Sallyanne Monahan (Kevin), Rosalie Phipps (Craig Stock), Richard Phipps and Thomas Phipps (Sandra); her sons, Jeffrey Smeltzer and Jason Bosh; and her grandchildren, Rebecca Smeltzer Kramer (Skyler), Parker Smeltzer Fox (Zoȅ), Gabby and Meredith Bosh. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
