She was predeceased by: her son Michael D. Comeau; her brother Martin Cooney; and her parents, Matthew Cooney and Ann Cooney (Ryan). She is survived by: her children, Matthew Comeau of Foxborough and Jeanine M. Anezis (Steve) of Peabody; her grandchildren, Matthew, Amanda Comeau, Sophia, Connor and Lily Anezis; her siblings, Matthew Cooney (Dobe) of Florida, Kathleen Cooney Walton, Jack Cooney and Michael Cooney; and her siblings-in-law, James Walton of Dalton and Cathy Meunier Grady of Dalton. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
