He was predeceased by: his brothers, Eugene O'Connor, Kevin O'Connor, Brian O'Connor and Gregory O'Connor; and his parents, Edward James O'Connor and Agnes Crealese (MacNeil).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Grace O'Connor (Monsini); his children, Della M. Sattin (O'Connor) of Mashpee, Lisa O'Connor of Plymouth, Edward J. O'Connor III of Plymouth, John J. O'Connor of Plymouth and Valerie J. Cummings (Thomas) of Augusta, GA.; and his sister Phyllis Jezard. He is also survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Cartmell-Davis Funeral & Cremation Service - Manomet (619 State Rd, Plymouth, MA 02360). A Mass was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St Peters Church (86 Court St, Plymouth, MA 02360). A burial was held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 at 12:45 PM at the Massachusetts National Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Edward's memory be made to the Plymouth Veterans Fund, c/o Plymouth Veteran Services, 26 Court St., Plymouth MA, 02360.
